BANJA LUKA: DIOPTA PROVIDED FREE EYE EXAMS FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS

On the occasion on World Sight Day, marked this year on 10 October, Diopta conducted free eye exams for children from the preschool institution „Maslačak“ in Banja Luka.

Diopta’s experienced eye doctors checked the vision of 15 children 4-5 years old. They did their best to make eye exam fun and interesting for children in order to help them become familiar with what to expect the next time they visit an ophthalmologist. Eye care professionals also talked with boys and girls about the importance of taking care of their precious eyesight. Good vision is key to a child’s physical development, success in school and overall well-being and all children need regular complete eye examinations to find out if they have healthy eyes and vision. Nowadays kids are increasingly exposed to harmful blue light from digital devices, television and computer screens. Therefore, it’s important to teach them about eye health and safety from a young age to maintain the best possible view of the world.

As a socially responsible company, Diopta’s goal is to raise public awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups, inform adults and children alike about good eye habits through various campaigns and choose a lifestyle that will promote eye and vision health for a lifetime.
